Annual Report
This year has been a rather eventful year. On 3rd & 4th March 2000 John Robinson arranged a training weekend at Owl Barn Sevenoaks Weald in which we had a very active and enjoyable weekend including Competition, Life Gaurding, Sub Aqua Diving and an Assault Course. Hopefully we will do this again in 2001. On the 30th May 2000 we organized a leaving party for John ( Robbie ) Robinson who has now moved to a new house in Devon to be close to his family after 20 odd years at White Oak. So far this year we have acheived the following awards ; Life Support Awards ( Resuscitation ) Life Support 1 = 13 Life Support 2= 6 Life Support 3= 3 Life saving Awards Bronze Medallion= 13 Award of Merit= 7 Distinction= 3 Open Water Awards Bronze Cross= 6 Silver Cross= 6 Karen Clifton has been presented with the Certificate of Thanks at the Guildhall in London. We have also entered 2 teams for the Inter-Club Competition at the Cygnet Centre Gravesham in which we obtained second and fourth places. It is also our intention to start competition training in 2001. We would like to thank Joe Graimes and Bob Herbert who have willingly given up there own free time to assist with training, and also Toni Norman for her help in arranging Robbies leaving Party.
